Clipboard history

Everything kitsu fetches for you — links, colors, snippets. Stored in the app's own sandbox container, never sent anywhere.

System vitals

CPU, RAM, battery, thermal. Read from system APIs so kitsu knows how your Mac is feeling — and never leave it.

Focus history

Your Pomodoro blocks and streaks. All local, all yours.

File stash

Files you drop on the notch, buried in kitsu's sandbox. No cloud copy exists.

v1 has no cloud sync. There's no account to sign into and no server to reach — kitsu runs entirely on your machine.

One third party

The only thing that leaves: billing

Unlocking Pro goes through RevenueCat, the payment processor kitsu uses. It's the only third party the app talks to, and it sees exactly one thing:

  • Anonymous purchase history — just enough to validate your one-time Pro unlock
  • An anonymous app user ID — no email, no IDFA, no customer attributes

RevenueCat's use of that data is limited to Analytics and App Functionality — what the App Store privacy labels declare. It is not linked to your identity, and it is not used for tracking.

The rest

No analytics. No ads. No tracking.

  • App-sandboxed.kitsu runs inside macOS's sandbox and asks for no extra permissions.
  • No analytics or tracking SDK.RevenueCat is the only third-party code in the app — there's no telemetry, no ad SDK, nothing watching you.
  • Required-reason APIs, on-device only. App-scoped preferences, elapsed time, and disk-space checks are the only system data kitsu touches. They're declared in our privacy manifest, used locally, never transmitted.

If that ever changes — if kitsu ever needs the network or a server — we'll say so on this page first, before anything ships.
